The Berlin Wall anniversary - celebration that embellished the darkness Jan 07, 2015

When you have a birthday, you light candles. When Germany celebrated the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, they lit up balloons. Thousands of illuminated balloons that curled through the city, marking the path where once stood the wall. But well, you probably already heard about it.

If that were summer, we probably wouldn’t be so excited about balloons that glow in the dark. Because summers are already bright. Yet, autumn is dark. The season when days are short, and people are hungry for sun and light. So bringing the light into the grey city streets with glowing balloons was a pretty great idea. Something that gave people emotions that they loved to share, spreading the positive energy around like a virus.

In the end of the celebration, 8000-LED illuminated balloons were released in the night sky, creating a stunning spectacle. Helium filled balloons were let up the air one by one, creating a true excitement in visitors.

Now it’s your turn to make this dark season a little bit brighter! All you need is an idea. And a little help from glowing LED balloons.
